insulated with old place-mats.

i sandwiched the place-mats between a lining fabric (inside) and the thick floral fabric (outside).
the 4 sections of sandwiched fabrics (cut into mitten shape) were then quilted on the sewing machine with a diamond pattern.
the red trim was then sewn onto the bottom of each mitten side.
i then sewed the two mitten sides together, inside out and attached a hanging loop.
the mitts were then flipped right side out and ironed slightly.
